I love to read! Especially French history, the Kings Queens, Mistresses, the Emperors - the wars, the court culture, and people. It couldn't be a dry history - I am not an academician. It has to be a compelling and enlightening read in someway. I like to learn new pieces of information and make connections. Lighting is a specialty at Pat Monroe Antiques. We carry French crystal chandeliers, antique Baccarat chandeliers, Italian candlestick chandeliers, Italian and Spanish goldleaf chandeliers. Lamps and Sconces are abundantly placed around the gallery. The majority of our lighting is Italian made in Italy with old and new architectual pieces. They are artistically designed and one-of-a-kind. Then they are newly lit and grace our ceiling, walls, and table.
We stay current with drum shades, burlap shades, acrylic sphere finials all in neutral colors. The Half-Dome Tole Chandelier is a spectacular example of our lighting. Different, neutral colors, reminicent of the Italy of a century ago.
