Antique French Carved Giltwood Occasional Table (1075)

Details:

Mid 19th Century, in the transitional Louis XV into Louis XVI style.  The circular top has an inset leather surface and molded edge, raised on a fluted acanthine standard to three played foliate -carved legs ending in scrolled toes. American, Byrdcliffe Art Colony. This piece has a wonderful, venerable warp. I just couldn't help but buy it!
